This page contains examples of what we make with the rocks we collect. Everything

Fossil Lake WY Fish
Collected from a commercial quarry. Prepared as well as they can be, fully
exposed. Most whole and complete, some not in great shape (hey if you died
and sunk to the bottom of a lake you might not look so good either!) Some
repaired (but look at shops - many of them are!). I don't "paint in" the
fish - I hate that, so these do not look like many of the fish you
see in shops. Just the skeletons and scales if they survived, no painted-in
bones or outlines of where the fish "should be". Sealed with a polymer
(acetone-soluble) so they won't disintegrate on you. Two species - Knightia,
an extinct herring species, and Diplomystus, an extinct surface predator.
I have a perfect, complete 14" Phareodus encaustus (awesome predator
- like a bass on steriods!) which needs to be prepared. I'll consider
offers over $750 (prepared)!
Knightia alta & eoceana
- 1 - 2": $5.00
- 2 - 4": $10.00
- 4 - 6": $20.00
Diplomystus dentatus
- 2 - 4": $15.00
- 4 - 6": $35.00
Mioplosus sp. juvenile
Repaired & partial fish (great for kids & giveaways)

suggest a virbatory tumbler). $10.00/pound.
