Polished Agates

PAGE 2

Many of these are agates that I have cut for myself, many are from Oregon, Washington, and Idaho. None of the photos are enhanced - indeed, the photos don't do these proper justice. They are all have as high a polish as is possible have no visible scratches. I am extremely picky about that. Many of these are rare types that you simply aren't going to find for sale anywhere else. Slabs are noted, otherwise these are rough pieces with one side cut and polished.
All pieces will be sent Parcel Post mail or flat rate priority mail ($9.55 - $20.95), depending on weight, whichever is less unless you specify the shipping method. The majority will be priority mail padded flat rate envelope = $9.55.

Agate 21 Plume Agate 3" slice. I'm not sure where this is from but I would guess Carey Ranch, Oregon.

$6.00

YES
Agate 22 Montana Agate, Yellowstone River 3" piece, beautiful black dendrites and blobs that this agate is famous for.

$10.00

YES
Agate 23 Montana Agate, Yellowstone River 3 1/4" polished half.

$5.00

YES
Agate 24 Brazil agate nodule 4" polished half. Looks like a foggy day to me.

$7.00

YES
Agate 25 Montana Agate, Yellowstone River 4 1/4" piece, this is a real oddball for the location. Cut flat on the bottom so it stands up on its own.

$15.00

YES
Agate 26 Holley Blue agate, OR 3 1/2" chunk, very large for this agate! Holley Blue is one of the most famous and awesome agates from Oregon. It comes from one location near Holley, Oregon. The entire area has been closed down since the mid 1990s due to greedy people abusing the privilege that the landowners granted us to dig it. The colors range from a pale lavender to dark purple. These are the best I have that I can bear to part with. These are the ONLY Holley Blues I will be selling so when they're gone that's it. This one is much more blue than the photo!

$18.00

YES
Agate 27 Mary Ellen "Jasper", Michigan

4 3/4", thick slice. This is not jasper, I know everybody calls it that but jasper is completely opaque by definition. This one (and almost all of it) has translucent pockets of agate. It's actually a fossil stromatolite (I'll let you look that one up).

$10.00

YES
Agate 28 Montana Agate, Yellowstone River 2 3/4" piece polished half. Really cool fortifications and ghostly light blue blobs!

$12.00

SOLD
Agate 29 Montana Agate, Yellowstone River 6" big, heavy polished half, almost completely opaque. Bizarre!

$14.00

YES
Agate 30 Montana Agate, Yellowstone River 3" polished half, cool black scallops.

$8.00

YES
Agate 31 Trancas Quartz/agate nodule, Mexico

4 3/4" big, heavy half nodule.

$14.00

YES
Agate 32 Pink Limb Cast, Paulina, OR 3 3/4" piece, from the Dendrite Butte area. It's very rough on the outside, so likely it was just a pocket in the rock and not replacement of an actual limb by agate. We occasionally find these but they're uncommon in the area.

$10.00

YES
Agate 33 Brazil agate nodule 3" half, lots of weird little white flecks in it.

$8.00

YES
Agate 34 Polka Dot agate, Ashwood OR 3 1/2" piece, classic brown dots and brown-gold patches.

$8.00

YES
Agate 35 Amethyst Sage agate, NV 3 1/2" slab, the most desirable purple/blue and creamy yellow with small black dendrites.

$15.00

SOLD
Agate 36 Graveyard Point Plume Agate, OR 7 1/4" stunning display piece. Stands up on its own. This is black marcasite plume from the Purple Sage mine. It's gone now and no more is ever coming out. I've only seen this type at that one pit (actually we called it "hole in the wall" because it was insanely difficult to dig anything out of a 30 foot deep crack!).

$30.00

/p>
YES
Agate 37 Maury Mountain Moss agate, OR 4" piece, classic gold and red moss for this locaiton.

$13.00

YES
Agate 38 Holley Blue agate, OR 2" piece, light translucent purple. These are all a bit more blue than the photos.

$14.00

SOLD
Agate 39 Beacon Hill agate nodule, Idaho 3 1/4" polished half, these are rare and the good looking ones are even rarer. I've polished the last of mine and I probably won't have any more unless I luck into them. Crazy patterns but believe it or not they're not all that uncommon there.

$10.00

YES
Agate 40 Montana Agate, Yellowstone River 2 3/4" piece polished half. Really cool fortifications and ghostly light blue blobs!

$12.00

SOLD
