Polished Thunderegg Specimens for Sale PAGE 1

Polished Thundereggs

PAGE 1

Welcome to thunderegg heaven! Almost all of these are Oregon thundereggs collected by myself and other rockhounds both in ancient times (in other words, 50 years ago) through the last time my trailer left the driveway! These are halves for display, not slabs. The size of each is noted, a well as the location where they were collected. None of the photos are enhanced - indeed, the photos don't do these proper justice. They are all have as high a polish as is possible have no visible scratches. I am extremely picky about that. Many of these are rare types that you simply aren't going to find for sale anywhere else. Unless you know somebody who knows somebody...

All pieces will be sent Parcel Post (under $10) or flat rate priority mail ($10 - $24), depending on weight, whichever is less unless you specify the shipping method. The majority will be priority mail parcel post or padded flat rate envelope ($10).

About Fluorescent Eggs: Many of these fluoresce in SW (shortwave) and/or LW (longwave) UV (ultraviolet) light. Some are spectacular, displaying bright and subtle green, yellow, blue, white, or purple colors. Many times the fluorescent colors are very different from the visible light colors, and don't necessarily look similar. In other words you can get a different "look" under UV light vs. visible light. I note where they are usually fluorescent under my SW and LW lights; some eggs fluoresce in green or yellow but not very strongly. They're still cool to look at under UV anyway. Click HERE for a boatload of examples from my collection.
If you've recently visited this page, be aware that your browser may have cached the images and although all browsers are supposed to catch new images and reload them, sometimes they don't. So hit the refresh button below just in case to make sure you have the latest pics.
There's a simple fix for Firefox:
Type "about:config" in the website address box. This should load the Firefox config settings in the window for editing. You may see a warning message stating, "This might void your warranty!" (which is an in-joke, they don't have one), click on it to load the settings. Then search for the "browser.cache.check_doc_frequency" key and change it to "1".
For those of you who are looking for something specific in my for sale pages, such as when I list new items, I might have a solution for you. You may want to try this: https://www.changedetection.com, I think all you do is sign up and enter the address of the page, for example if you are looking for equipment enter http://orerockon.com/equipment_for_sale.html, and they should send you an email when I add something. BUT, it probably will send you a notice when I change one letter of one sentence on the page, so you might get annoyed by it at some point. It's a great way to track when I list new polished items, since I typically don't change anything until something sells and/or I add items, and equipment, which I never change unless I add new pieces or change the status to "sold" as they sell.

I need room for all the new eggs I have polished! Sale price appears when you add the piece to your Paypal cart. Email me if you don't want to use Paypal.
