I am selling most of my collection of fossils. They're been taking up space in my rock room for a couple decades now, and I need the room for...well...more fossils! 95% of these were collected and prepared by me. I collected most of them from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Wyoming. I'm including what I know about them, but like any amateur collection some of them are mysteries. It can be difficult to determine exactly what species a fossil is without a degree in paleontology so my IDS are NOT perfect. All are labeled with the number on the page in an inconspicuous place, it can easily be rubbed off with alcohol. So if you want to know exactly what they are and where they were found (if my fading memory kicks into gear) then write it down or take a screen shot. These are prepared for display as they were found. Most have a very thin coating of a fossil preserrvation plastic to protect them from getting smudged. If you don't like it then it can be easily removed with a little acetone and patience. If there's any reconstruction I'll point it out, but 99% of them are as they were in nature. Quite a few were exposed with various tools but none are "embellished" to make them look prettier. I do sand down the matrix on some of them, those are easy to spot :)

None of the photos are enhanced or changed in any way - indeed, the photos don't do many of them proper justice.

All pieces will be sent Parcel Post mail or flat rate priority mail, depending on weight, whichever is less unless you specify the shipping method. The majority will be parcel post (generally under $8.00) or priority mail padded flat rate envelope = $9.55.
