The order form is linked at the bottom of this page

Acceptance Mark Solution Graphics

I accept electronic payments or credit cards via PayPal only! If you have a PayPal account, would like to set up an account, or would like to use their one-time transfer feature without siggning up for an account, please feel free to try the shopping cart by clicking the cart button next to each item. Since S&H is by weight, I will bill S&H charges to your PayPal account later. You MUST unblock cookies and popups for the PayPal site to work! If you don't want to use PayPal, please use the order form located at the bottom of the page.

Shipping and handling charges are approximately $11.50 per 15 lbs. (flat rate priority mail box) or $15.00 per 25 lbs. (large box).

You MUST allow cookies and popups for the PayPal site to work! (I get complaints that Paypal is "broken" at least once a week. It is ALWAYS because your web browser and/or firewall is blocking information from Paypal)

You MUST have a valid email address to use PayPal!

I will ignore orders from invalid email addresses (yes this happens, believe it or not)! You DO NOT NEED A PAYPAL ACCOUNT to use PayPal! If you choose to pay via eCheck, I will wait for it to clear before even reading your order. (Yes, I have been ripped off this way. Apparently it's a common scam used on PayPal.)

Do not ever email anyone your credit card number! If someone asks you for it, they are attempting to steal it! If you email me your credit card number, it will likely be stolen since one of tens of thousands of bots will probably intercept any email that looks like it has a credit card number in it. I wouldn't know what to do with it anyway, that's what PayPal is for. You have been warned!

Under "Quantity" please put the number of POUNDS for rough, the number of SQUARE INCHES for slabs. In your note, specify any details like minimum size of slabs. I will calculate S&H charges and bill you once we get the order squared away.

SOLD OUT means I have none. Please do not click on the Cart button if the Available Quantity says SOLD OUT. Please do not order more than the quantity available. Please pay attention to the size of the rough. I will not cut down my rough to accomodate small quantities.

Questions? E-mail me!

(Please note: the above email address is encrypted to protect against SPAMBots. If you click on it, a blank email will appear in your default email program, which is addressed to me. DO NOT CHANGE THE SUBJECT LINE OR THE EMAIL ADDRESS! If you do, I will never receive your email!)

Please note: I have a minimum order of $25 before S&H charges which will be billed later

Obsidian & Needles

My obsidian is usually slabbed about 1/4" thick; can be slabbed thicker for extra $. Slabs are shaped as they come from the saw. Slabs can be from 1'' x 2" to about 4" x 4" for most material. Starred materials occasionally come in pieces large enough to get up to about 5x10" slabs, but PLEASE ask about larger rough and slabs before ordering!

Starred materials are occasionally available in sizes greater than 4x4"; all others are usually not available larger than 4x4"! SOLD OUT means I have none. Please do not click on the Cart button if the Available Quantity says SOLD OUT. Slabs are sold by the square inch. For example, a 4"x4" slab is 16 square inches.

Starred materials are occasionally available in sizes greater than 4x4"; all others are usually not available larger than 4x4"!
Please note: For sheen, rainbow, purple, and velvet obsidian, I pick slabs or rough that shows the sheen, on at least one side for slabs, in full sunlight. It may or may not show well or at all in indirect sunlight, incandescent, or flourescent light, depending on the type of sheen and the individual piece. Also, if you work the material, and the sheen disappears, chalk it up to experience! This happens to everyone, myself included. I have no way of knowing what you will do with the material.
You can try to score and break the slabs if you want preforms for knapping (I recommend a tile cutter), or cut them with a trim or tile saw.

Please note: I have a minimum order of $25 before S&H charges

NOTES ABOUT OBSIDIAN NEEDLES:

Everyone seems to expect a different thing when they order needles from me. I dig these needles at Davis Creek, and the needles there are about 1-10" long and can be black, mahogany colored, or mixed colors. The vast majority of needles that I keep are needle-shaped; i.e. they have one or two pointed ends and are not too fat in the middle. Other than that they vary tremendously in thickness and length (HEY! Get your mind out of the gutter! ;)

I grab a handful from my bucket and weigh it when you order from me, so you will get needles from about 1-1/2" (the smallest I usually pick up) to just under 4". Larger needles are usually sold individually, but I have decided to supply needles guaranteed to be longer than 4" as Large and 6" as Jumbo size needles. If you think my prices are a bit high, most of the needles I have seen for sale on the net are of questionable pedigree at truly astonishing prices: Check out the prices on EBAY then come back here and order ACTUAL needles for a REASONABLE price! Finally, please do not ask for needles of such-and-such a length and shape. High-grading my stock is not fair to the rest of my customers. If you want needles of an exact dimension I sugget you buy them individually from someone else.

A nice tutorial on slab knapping (please don't ask any knapping questions , I am not a good resource, and pages like this exist for your use and enjoyment!)
